Welcome to Ein Sof...

Shalom and Welcome to this website. As the administrator of Ein Sof, it seems essential that any visitor to this site know a little something about the education and training of the primary originator of Ein Sof.

Recently I've taken the Hebrew name of Chanoch ben Yisrael, however, I am more commonly known by my English name of Russ Cashin.  In 1995, I received an undergraduate degree in Psychology and have completed several graduate level courses in child psychology and family relationships.  Currently, I hold a CCP certificate as a Paraprofessional Counselor in the area of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. In recent years, I began an intensive spiritual journey into the understanding of human behavior and our fundamental relationship to each other and in conjunction with the Divine.

Eight years ago I began studying Kabbalah and as I discovered some of the wonderful "hidden" truths it teaches a transformation began to take hold.  This spiritual journey led me to complete a two year training program at Elat Chayyim as a Maggid Student.

Presently, I continue to study many works of Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism including The Zohar: Pritzker Edition.  I have had the pleasure of receiving instruction under some great teachers including Rabbi David A. Cooper, Daniel C. Matt, Rabbi Jonathan Omer-Man, Rabbi Avram Davis, and Rabbi Gershon Winkler. There are also many others who are not named here, but I would like to give thanks all those who have influence my life for good. In a certain sense, this includes every person or situation in which I have come into contact with or experienced.
